"Sketches" is a little collection of three jazz-inspired shorts, as I experiment beyond my home-genres of classical music and drum 'n' bass. The opening track "Negentropy" begins chaotically with two competing ideas, drawing closer together as the track progresses. The second track "Paper Windmill" is in a groovy 7/8 time signature but remaining relaxed throughout, featuring a soothing mono-synth solo inspired by my friend Tim Lallemant. And closing the short trio is the track "Greenside Rd.", depicting the summer-heat of my precious evening walks in and around where I used to live, leading me to a peaceful bench in the Church garden nearby.
